Francisco J. de Moura Theophilo M.D., Ph.D.
is the founder and director
of the NeuroRio Clinicas since
1983.
He
went to the Medical School at the Fuminense Federal University
(UFF) and has his medical degree recognized
in Germany (Approvation als Arzt, Regierung von
Oberbayern) and Portugal (Licenciatura em Medicina, faculdade de medicina de Lisboa)
He did his medical residency at
the School of Medicine, Hannover, Germany where
he also did his doctorate in medicine with a thesis
held in October 1983 (Doctor
Medicinae der Medizinischen Hochschule
Hannover).
He has the title of specialist in neurosurgery
in both countries, Brazil and Germany
He is member of the Brazilian Society of
Neurosurgery and the German Society of Neurosurgery.
He is also member of the Brazilian Academy of Neurosurgery
and the Brazilian College of Surgeons.
Gianne Leite Lucchesi M.D. is
neurosurgeon, and made her medical
residency in neurosurgery
at Galeão Air Force Hospital, Rio de Janeiro
and at the Fernandes Figueira
Institute (FIOCRUZ), when
Prof. Dr. Francisco
Theophilo was director of the department of neurology
and neurosurgery of that institute.
Dr. Gianne holds the title of
specialist in neurosurgery and is member
of the Brazilian Society of Neurosurgery.
Rodolfo Castello Branco,
M.D. is anesthesiologist. He did his medical
residency in anesthesiology
and has many years of experience with patients
in neurosurgery and spinal surgery.
He has the title of specialist in anesthesiology
and is member of the Brazilian Society of
Anesthesiology
Lia Theophilo Krüger,
M.D. is pediatric neurologist. Graduated
in Medicine, did her medical residency in Pediatrics
at the Institute of Pediatrics and Child Care Martagão
Gesteira, Rio de Janeiro Federal University (UFRJ)
and then another further medical residency in pediatric
neurology at the same University.
Dr. Lia
has the title of specialist in pediatrics.
Wilsy Hofmann is the surgical
instrumentation responsible for NeuroRio Clinicas,
and she is also the administrative manager of the clinic.
